German Red

This Rocambole produces red bulbs that enclose light brown covered cloves.    Eaten raw this is one of the hotter Rocambole garlics; when cooked it has a strong garlic flavor that is not as sweet as other garlics in this cultivar but still delivers a deep full-flavored taste to your dishes.  Double cloves are common; bulbs generally contain 10 -12 cloves per and 4 to 5 bulbs per pound.
