A member of the Porcelain family, initially introduced into Canada (from Italy) as a cold-hardy crop. This hardneck has expanded to be one of the most popular.   Eaten raw this garlic is very spicy and pungent; when used in cooking it emits a true garlic flavor that is a favorite of chefs globally.  Generally tends to run 4-6 bulbs per pound.
